Las Terrazas de Dana Boutique Lodge & Spa, located in the heart of Mindo’s Cloud Forest, invites you to experience all-inclusive travel programs where luxury meets nature. Each program immerses you in the breathtaking biodiversity and rich local culture, at a relaxed and accessible pace.
Day 1
Pick-up from your hotel in Quito, visiting the Middle of the World, the Intiñan Museum, Pululahua Viewpoint, and “Los Armadillos” Hummingbird Garden. After lunch, visit another hummingbird garden in Mindo and a local chocolate factory for a tasting. Overnight at the boutique lodge.
Day 2
After breakfast, cross the Nambillo River Valley on the Tarabita (cable car) and hike through the Mindo Cloud Forest Waterfall Sanctuary. Visit the butterfly house, home to over 1,000 butterflies. Check out and return to Quito or the airport.

This program offers an unparalleled birdwatching experience across some of the most scenic cloud forest locations. Extended tours are also available for those who wish to explore the region’s biodiversity further — from 3 up to 12 days.
Day 1 — Zuro Loma Reserve
AM: Pickup at 6:00 AM from your hotel in Quito or the airport, heading to the Zuro Loma Reserve, a prime birdwatching destination. PM: Lunch at a local restaurant en route to Las Terrazas de Dana Boutique Lodge & Spa, with strategic stops at bird feeders.
Day 2 — Silanche & Milpe Reserves
AM: Breakfast and departure for the Comedero Frutal Tour in the Silanche area, known for its rich biodiversity. PM: Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to Milpe Reserve, one of the best birdwatching spots in Ecuador, home to over 400 species.
Day 3 — Santa Rosa Feeder
AM: Visit to Comedero Santa Rosa, an excellent spot for observing hummingbirds and other tropical species. PM: Return to Quito or the airport to conclude the tour.
